Well my first thought was, outdoors during this weather is the perfect temps :D

CDTs (along with all other torts I can think of) should be set up outside as much as possible...of course some concessions should be set in play for weird weather and for the very small/young tort..)

If indoors, I would make sure to have a basking spot of 95-105 and an ambient temp of 80 ish and a cool dry side of 70-75....I would also add a touch of warm water directly to the soil directly under the basking light (not the entire enclosure substrate) and in the cool side I would make sure to have that be the dry cool area....:D

You should also have a plan in mind to set up an outdoor yard for your CDT so when the tortoise seasons are in play your tort can be outdoors....make sure to have a secure area....sun and shade access is necessary...
