is it okay to give my leopard tortoise strawberries once a week? He loves butter lettuce and has been eating a good amount twice a day, but I wonder if he is too young to have strawberry?

This says for Sulcatas. What about leopard?I agree. No strawberries, regardless of age for a leopard.

Thanks. I’m not saying he’s only eating butter lettuce I’m saying that right now that’s what I’m giving him. I have switched it up.No. Leopard tortoises should not be given fruit.

There are far better food choices to offer than butter lettuce. Please re-read the care sheets linked in your other thread to learn more about acceptable food items.
