Appear to be some type of box turtle....I am not well versed in the differences of each to offer any more than that...my post here will bump your thread back to the front for the others to see...

Thanks Angela. That was my assumption. I have no intention to obtain these, I am just use to common and species name. "Dirt Turtle" didn't help me at all. lol

LOL - I thought they were Ornates. I was like, "what the hell is a dirt turtle." It wasn't in any of my papers or online. :D

Maybe they were thinking land turtles instead of water turtles but wrote dirt. Odd. Hopefully someone gets them.
