Discoloration on Shell

Am not too sure what is causing the discoloration on the shell. it is on the edge/outline of every scute, shown in the picture below. I am not sure what it caused it or what it is, is it some type of fungus?

The white lines around the scutes are the new growth on your tortoise. They are normal and not of any concern.

What a pretty little animal! Don't worry that new growth darkens with age.

Pancake tortoises are just so beautiful! . If I had one I would be in total ecstacy.
