Can I pass on a sickness to my tort and vice versa? Sorry I'm just wondering if I should separate myself from my tort when I'm sick.

very rare for you to pass along an illness either way. Make sure you wash your hands before and after handling and there should be no problems.

I am sure that you can not pass a sickness to your tort and the only sickness a tort ( or any reptile ) could pass to a person is salmonellae, but not all torts have them.
