Do Russian Tortoises ever drink ?

Just curious, I know they drink, but in years of tort keeping , I never seen them use their water dish or pond ever. When I soak them I will see a head dip every once in awhile. I made an elaborate and custom pond, both indoor and out, years already, never once seen a tort use it. Just curious everyones observations.

When we had a heat wave of 100+ degrees, i saw mine drinking during a soak. I don't think I've seen it more than twice in the few year's I've had him... I even caught it on film:

I have seen mine drink during soaks a few times (that is the head dips) and once in his outdoor enclosure. For my own peace of mind, I followed advice from @Tom to have a consistent soaking routine to make sure he stays hydrated. (Even though my Russian still hates soaking)
