update: she didn't poop. though i genuinely don't know since she's been walking around all day. maybe she pooped somewhere else? she didn't poop in her soak.
If she's eating well and active - don't worry. Maybe next month you'll find a growing pumpkin in the gardenupdate: she didn't poop. though i genuinely don't know since she's been walking around all day. maybe she pooped somewhere else? she didn't poop in her soak.
hahaha i definitely wouldn't mind a pumpkin! If she's eating well and active - don't worry. Maybe next month you'll find a growing pumpkin in the garden
Good to know! I see nothing concerning (besides already known issue). Keep going!hi all, she pooped normally today and ate her veggies!! i'm so happy.
here are some pictures. please feel free to make comments if you see anything of note. (yes, she is still fat/has edema.) she's 580-590g!
Yes, it is. You can feed it once/twice a week. It can be stored for a long time just at room temperatures. Also, if you need to leave for a day or two, put a good chunk in a food dish (it won't rot and helps with hydration).hello all, is this nopales/opuntia? and how often can i feed it? (i couldn't find any at my local supermarket.) this is one i found that can be delivered in a small amount so tortoise can try it. there are no other details than "whole prickly pear cactus"
i have no experience with this and i'm too scared to try. i don't think i willI was wondering ... Are you planning on her Brumating? or are you keeping her warm all winter? I ask because she will need a few weeks with no food before you would be able to Brumate. I was curious if this is something you have thought of.
You don't need to, with proper lighting and heating over wintering can be done healthy. I will also be skipping brumation this year with my Russian due to bladder stones, so a fear on my part too.i have no experience with this and i'm too scared to try. i don't think i will
forgot to add picture hahai just checked and there was a rock in her tub (the soaking tub). i'm not sure fully if she pooped it out, but i'm really confused since she doesn't have any rocks in her enclosure (other than the ones that are half her size or more???) where is she getting these???? either way, it's really small so i'm glad she pooped it out
her enclosure is indoors , and her tub is coveredBird may have dropped it in her enclosure.
She roams you secure garden doesn’t she?possible she’s nabbed it from thereher enclosure is indoors , and her tub is covered
so i don't think a bird is liable...
