Looks fine by me. Rotate them weekly and amend with dried leaves mixes like Tortoise Supply Herbal Hay, fresh hibiscus and mallow leaves etc.here are the ingredients of some veggies i found. if you could verify that they are okay, i will buy!
yess i'm already doing that!I would continue with the same routine for at least two weeks and see how it goes. You can also spray water over greens or fine chop them and pour a little water in the food dish to help with hydration.
These greens are fine and should not cause any problems.yess i'm already doing that!
will eating hibiscus leaves, baby lettuce, raddicio, kale, and frisée cause constipation?
hi! i've already stopped the cucumber. i'm just worried because i haven't seen a single poop in the enclosure! i watch her pretty closely so i don't think she's pooping then eating it... hopefully she poops soon.I would stop the cucumber and revert to normal healthy diet. Maintain the soaks and do not panic if no urates or poo. They take along time to digest and if it does not arrive in the disk it will be in the enclosure and you can spot clean. It looks a healthy tort so just focus on the set up and providing a nice life for it.
Food can stay in their digestive tract for weeks. Laxatives expedit this process.i also assumed that things passed through their system much faster. (a few days at most) since once, i gave mineral oil for constipation and it came out the next day. similarly, i gave some pumpkin, and the next day her poop was a bit more orange.)
thanks! that makes sense.Food can stay in their digestive tract for weeks. Laxatives expedit this process.
