Its been almost a year since I was gifted Dwight from a friend who felt like I'd have more time for her. She rode home in her little 10 gallon tank with a pokey substrate and a bowl of tortoise pellets. She climbed in her bowl and rode the whole way doing her best to manage the turns and bumps by herself. Almost a year later and this little tortoise is my best friend. She eats like a cow, her favorite green is kale, she has a very independent attitude but loves to just come sit and snuggle up in a blanket on the couch. Point is I love this tortoise. She has helped me through some really rough times. I'm so proud to look back and see how much she has grown and turned into a personable little sweetie. Now we're definitely going to go water bowl shopping.
