E. Coli outbreak what to do?

Just received word that there is another outbreak of E. Coli. I have a Sulcata Tortoise who is 5 years old and eats spring mix from time to time and my question is are Tortoises at risk of contracting this disease? Very worried.

As far as I know, E. Coli only adversely affects warm blooded animals. I know of no examples of any cold blooded animal getting sick from E Coli.

I had assumed the same thing.
And it makes sense considering some of the things my RF consume
