Eating for Whales !!!!!

Hi my 2-3 yr old horsfield Rossi as for the past 4 days been eating sooo much, can not believe the amount he is putting away ...is this normal .....probably sounds like a stupid question to some of you .....

If you don't know the answer and would like to, no question is stupid.

Russian tortoises eat a lot because the time they are awake (not brumating) is short. They have to eat a lot in order to go for months of not eating while brumating.
