Thanks will order it now should be here by Wednesday? Thanks so much as it's all very confusing I'm sure in a years time it might be me giving advice haha
It does get confusing. That's why we are lucky this great forum is here with so many people willing to help. It does get less confusing, but that's when something else will happen and now you have to get that figured out LOL

Clearly not. It was late June, he was fixated on windfall cherries in the garden which I was doing my best to clear before he got to them and I can only think he was being optimistic! And thick! :D

See? They are anything but "Einsteins" but they're still adorable little creatures. ;)

Many thanks your answer, appreciate it.

Hi @Sarah dearden how's your tort today? Eating? Hope to hear she has settled down.
Not yet but she's shown more interest in the food today ? Gave her some dandelions this afternoon which she had a good smell of , just have to keep on with her routine in the morning to try and encourage her plus I've loads of weeds in my garden so I've identified some that I can pick and give her .

Hi sorry but still need help , after getting all the advice of you guys! I changed all the lights to the recommended ones , fitted them as soon as they arrived so temp is right now and she's basking under quiet a lot of the time , so I thought she would start eating but no she didn't , so took her to a vet that specialised in reptiles and tortoise and they did a full health check on her , which they said she's quite healthy considering she's from a pet shop ? The vet filled her belly with food with a syring and told me to bring her back if she doesn't eat within a few days , 3 days later she ate a little ? For 2 days so I thought I was on to s winner here ? But now she's gone back to not eating , I'm going to ring the vet again and get her back in ? I'm getting frustrated now haha I'm even contemplating in getting in touch with the pet shop as I can see this is going to cost me big time ? Any other suggestions are welcome ?

What temperatures do you have now?

Warm side, cool side, directly under the basking lamp and overnight minimum?

Your tort has been messed about by a stranger. Stress alone needs to be recovered from.

Go to the basics of the gentle start to the day routine:
- lights on
- soak before she's warmed up properly
- tidy the enclosure and place food during the soak
- replace your tort and leave her in peace to get brave.

Ok my temp is between 32/35 c during the day and night is about 17c if temp in house drops below 15 c then our heating comes on ? I've got a routine in morning I switch her light on about 7.15/7.30 , tend to let her come round for 10 mins while I sort out kids breakfast , then straight in warm bath for about 20 mins ( I top up with warm water ) she hates the sink ? While she's in bath I sort cage out and do her food ? Dry her of with a towel that's warmed up of the radiator? Then back in cage and we tend to leave her? Come home most nights from work food is still there ?

I honestly think you need to give her a week to recover from the vet.

There's no sign of a runny nose is there?
How's her weight doing?
