I found this growing along my pier in my backyard and I’m wondering if it’s safe to pick for my Marginated tortoise

Yes, that’s a Red Clover. I feed our Sully this often.

Trifolium pratense, the red clover, is a herbaceous species of flowering plant in the bean family Fabaceae, native to Europe, Western Asia, and northwest Africa, but planted and naturalized in many other regions.

➡️ Although all Clovers contain high levels of protein, they are still acceptable to feed as a small percentage of the tortoise's diet.
