Have 4 Indian star eggs from September clutch. 1 egg is heavy and has a black shade around the egg , see picture.
The other 3 eggs seem hollow and I can see thru them. One of them has a liquid coming out of it.
What your thoughts on the heavy egg will it hatch it’s now 3.5 months in incubator.

Were there other eggs in the clutch that did hatch, or are these the only ones?

Did you diapause the eggs prior to incubation?

The clear one leaking fluid is no good for sure. The other clear ones at 3-1/2 months are not developing- so either not fertile or perhaps you did not diapause and they never started development but are fertile.

Can't tell from the picture about the dark one. Eggs ready to hatch will appear totally dark inside with an air pocket towards the top.

If your incubation protocol is correct, I would never throw away eggs until they are obviously rotten. Smelling or leaking fluid or totally light weight.

So I thru out the eggs from the first clutch they started to leak and smell. The 2nd clutch now I had 1 hatch at 124 days it’s been about 4-5 days now the others have not hatched. Any suggestions . They are bone white and are dark and heavier inside. In the past they all hatched with 1 or 3 days. Why these 2 taking longer ?

I would suggest that you lightly mist any eggs that still appear as though they might be good/fertile with lukewarm water from a spray bottle or a sprinkle bottle. Do this every other day. Sometimes the extra moisture will stimulate hatching.

Just keep incubating. If they are not rotten, cracked and leaking, they might still hatch. I had a Burmese star egg hatch 8 months after all the other ones. I had actually given up and was coming to throw the egg and media away when I saw the baby in the box. My mom still has that tortoises and he's doing great years later.
