It is always interesting to observe my Egyptians, when they drink. Yes they need actually quite a bit of water.

Awesome. Back a few maybe 3 years now actually when I was rearing some neonates I utilized the only soak and spray method. It was fascinating to see them utilize the arch and marginal scutes to obtain falling water. They also used the nares much like the Aldabras to inhale water droplets on larger decomposed granite pieces. I'll see if I can find the thread or video of it. Just love these guys.

My egyptians actually lift their rear end to let the water flow down towards their mouth, when i let the water stream go over their shell.
