Enclosed Chamber

I am excited to announce that I will be getting three new leopard tortoise hatchlings in about a month. I am wanting to set them up with an enclosed chamber. And was thinking about making the tote in the picture below the chamber. Can someone with experience on enclosed chambers let me know if you think this tote would work. Thanks in advance.

Why not? Just don't keep it outside. It'll get very hot inside.
It should be a good basis for a pen.

It could work. They will out grow it quickly, but it looks like it would be easy to attach a second one to that when needed.

How are you planning on seeing them? Will you be making a viewing panel in front?

Yeah I would use a saw to cut out an opening and then replace it with plexiglass.

At any rate, I like it a lot better than the "book case" mod.
