Hi is this an ok enclosure for an adult Greek. It is 6 foot by 5 foot and the substrate is coco coir mixed with sand and I took the fluorescent so tht it didn't block the shot.

I think you should add some plants to break up the enclosure a bit and provide more hide options. Maybe increase the wall height on the end where you have the main hide, so you can pile on more substrate to create an area for burrowing.

I agree with WamBamCam. Also, would be much better if you can hang that light. Those clamps have been known to fail and the results are a burnt tort or burnt house:(

Good design. I'll agree with previous advice; add plants and things of interest. Also, add a 'U' or a 'H' shape divider near the middle to break up his line of sight and give him some additional corners to dig into and explore.

It looks a little too sandy to me; might want to add a few more bricks of coco coir. Sand can cause torts to become impacted when they eat the substrate. I'm thinking your water dish might get more use if it could be lower and closer to the light.

The advice on changing the way the lamp is hung is good. You may consider building a pair of vertical supports and then run a horizontal board (I use a 1" x 2") to mount your light. Keep the height adjustable so you can control your temperature by raising and lowering the fixture.

Good luck.
