Ew water bugs

I’m guessing they wanted to be warm? Bleck. I just went to check on Ms Leonora today after it stopped raining and found two huge water bugs in her box. I managed to unalive one but another made it out and under her house. I don’t remember signing up for giant roaches when I built this house.
I’m thinking they couldn’t harm her. But how do I keep them from going back inside her house? Impossible? In my neighborhood we all have pools and they are a fact of life. Thankfully they don’t come inside my house. But did hers

You can use "Roach Motel" type glue traps to keep the numbers down.

They’re roaches but GIANT they wouldn’t even fit in a roach motel. Lol everyone colloquially calls them water bugs they hang around by pools at night. These were are bigger than my thumb. I don’t have any pictures. I just wanna keep them out of her house.
