Is that the mentality of all tortoise lovers? With most of my pets I was happy with just one or two, but within a few hours of getting mine, I had the devilish thought of "gee, these are so fun, I want another".

I know!!!!!! It's scary. I think it's because they are so fun and they require so little work!

Thats pretty funny, They are worth every penny and you will enjoy them for YEARS. Hopefully you might just get some eggs in time. Im a firm believer in if you have the space buy as many as you want

Money will always be a tangable item. Tortoises will not. You should see my bank account. In with money out with all it. Couldnt be happier saving species of torts that give me a reason to smile and feel like I do something for mother earth and repay our endless debt as humans of destroying something so fragile.
