By the way, we have learned that he absolutely LOVES turnip greens....and I LOVE seeing his little tongue :)

He does seem to really like them. Just make sure he gets a lot more then just those. A varied diet is very important.

Oh yeah, we know, we've fed him Zoo med grassland tortoise food, spring mix, kale (which he didn't really like), and turnip greens so far. This was actually his first time trying turnip greens. Next, we're gonna try to give him collard greens :)

Ban an is really high in sugar, I would skip since fruit is not a part of this guys diet needs. I give mine a lil nibble of watermellon but only once every other month. Try squash blossoms if you can get them or grow them. Mine goes nuts for those!
