Hello, everyone.
My name is Matt. I'm a longtime reptile keeper and new tortoise owner. I purchased a baby South African leopard tortoise 2 weeks ago. I also keep a blue tegu (about 2 years old), an egyptian uromastyx (2.5 yrs old), a red ridge-tailed monitor (6 years old) and a 5 month old green tree python. I never get tired of watching/caring for my animals, and have been fascinated by reptiles since I was very young.
This is my first foray into the tortoise world, and I am enjoying it so far. I tried to choose a good-sized, hardy species for my first and can't wait to see my hard work pay off with a large, smooth shelled adult leopard.
