Afternoon all,
It's a beautiful day here in England. The sun is actually shining for a change ;-)

It's always really bothered me that despite Lady Dorothy being a grassland tortoise, she has never actually been outside to graze. She was raised in a pet store environment and I got her in November so it's been too cold since then.

Today is different, it's humid, it's warm, and the ground is nice and warm too. So I decided to give her a chance to taste freedom, and boy did she seem to enjoy it!

Here's some photo's - I'm so glad she finally got to stretch her legs, eat grass and leaves and flowers from the ground and breath fresh air :)

She's such a cutie. Looks like she had a good adventure.
Did she graze at all? My pets took a while to get comfortable eating outside.

Thank you :) It took her a while to come out of her shell, but once she was out she was off pacing up and down and all around haha. She nibbled at some grass and dandelions but not as much as she does inside. I guess that'll take time too :)
