frozen dandelion

This may be a really stupid question but.....
has anyone tried freezing dandelion's.
Where I live in London is quite hard to find dandelions that may not of had weed killer sprayed on it.

It won't work :D When you thaw them out they turn to mush.

i wonder if drying them in a press would work. botanists do this to keep records of plants they find. when it comes time to eat, you could soften the dried plant with water.

I was under the impression they will eat dried greens like dandilion and other weeds (Do I have mis information?) during Winter or high summer when in their natural habitat don't the greens often dry up and they have to eat them dry (like the Timothy hay we buy)? Or couldn't you dry them and crush them over dampened greens and give them some extra nutrition?

its not the freezing thats the problem its the thawing they just go black and mushy its quite foul lol

I know that a couple of you suggest that it wont work but i'm very much one that has to find out for myself, watch this space............... ((*_*))
