Frozen fresh foods

Has anyone had good luck with freezing the staple foods for Yellow and Redfoots? I just bought a fresh mango and papaya and frozen half of them and picked a bunch of dandelions weeds and I am attempting to freeze those so that he will have somewhat fresh food through the winter. Any suggestions on how or what other foods may freeze ok? Thanks.

Hi Wendy. I freeze pretty much anything that will, papaya, figs, mango, pear, squash, zucchini, kiwi. I've heard dandelion goes to mush but hopefully you will have better luck with that! I have been growing my own weeds in a tank in the window sill. I collected some dandelion seeds in the summer and they've been growing pretty good.
