Fruit!?

How often can I give my 1 year old Russian tortoise fruit? And how much of it?
Also, what types of fruit can I feed her?

Why do you want to feed fruits?!
Russian should eats weeds and greens not fruits!!

I agree with the above. People like to give them as a treat but I never do because I don't see the point. It just messes with the digestive system. But if you must, a small slice of apple is okay once a month or so.

You have every time to think about the climate and food in their habitat. Russian live in dry habitat. So there aren't so much fruits. Their body isn't build for the sugar which is in fruits. So if they eat to much of them they get problem with their tummy.
