O wow, what a feast. I did not know a tortoise could love Romaine like that. I will give some to mine as a treat this week.

That was so great! I am so jealous of your yards full of torts, I love it! And I bet they do. One day when we have a summer in the NW I will get to do something like that too or even put them out in the "yard" I have for them now. :p

Yes we have dedicated our yard to turtles and tortoises, I will post a video of the ponds and the turtles soon.

Nice to see so many torts and all looking so natural.

I love during the winter when they are all inside and I feed the romaine. I make mine work for it and leave the leaves whole and some still on the stalk. They love the eating and I love the fact that you can hear the crunching all over the house. It's like they are a huge bunch of kids all trying to out crunch the other. :D

I never cut up the greens I give my torts. It seems more natural for them to rip and tear themselves. I do chop up the carrots, squash and the hard veggies in a food chopper. I love to hear them crunch it up too. :p
