Germans tortoise just woken up

Hi we have two Hermanns tortoises usually hibernate till mid March. They have been hibernating since October in boxes in back bedroom with no heating. They have woken up. Has anyone else tortoise woken up too early?

I don't know about the UK, but here in the western U.S. we really haven't had much of a winter.
