I just received my grazing seeds from Carolina pet supply and im not sure how to plant them. Ive gotten trays that are about two inches tall and top soil. But how much seed do I put down? Do I cover them? How often do I water it?

I bought some too. Would be interested in hearing what others do for optimal growth and utilization.

Are you wanting to plant them and keep indoors or out? Plant as you would anything. Outside, I would cover them or birds will eat them. Inside, I didn't cover mine. I also planted mine in coconut coir inside and in plain dirt outside. Water when soil is barely damp.

I want to keep them outside until it gets too cold and then ill keep them indoors. also, the trays i bought for them don't have any holes to let water escape, but theyre specifically for growing plants, so do I need to make my own holes or no?

I sprinkle my seeds on damp soil and then cover them with about half to quarter inch of more soil and then water.

I don't think you will need drainage holes as long as you don't over water.

Okay great. Will they live throughout winter if I bring them inside?

I have no idea. Some of my plants don't like going from outside to in, or from inside to out and some do okay with it.
