I have just joined this forum, but I have been reading on here for a couple years now. I live in Charleston area South Carolina. I do not have a tort yet but am working to that end. I have been building an enclosure lately and think I am getting close to done. Course that means making a decision on which tort and I am torn between a leopard and a redfoot. I just attached a picture of the outside of the enclosure. The inside is still pretty bare of plants and hides and such. It just has topsoil and spagnum moss and I tossed in one of my little dracanae plants (which won't be staying because I can't get enough info about the safety of it). I have a 18" uvb light, a Che, and a basking light. So far my humidity stays mostly in the 80s and temps are mid 90s on one end to low 80s on the other end. So please feel free to tell me your thoughts/critiques.

That is a nice looking cage you have built. It should work well for what ever tortoise you decide on.

Where did you get him? Did you give him a nice warm soak?

Got him from Arizona tortoise compound. And yes had a nice soak and now i am just letting him be to reduce stress
