Growing Batagur

few months back I splurged and picked up 4 batagur affinis and 4 batagur borneoensis. The affinis are growing like a weed. Have literally quadrupled in size over a few months.

Little guy was the size of my palm and now he is 4 times my palm.

Neat! Those are pretty cold sensitive aren't they?
If so, I take it you've planned way ahead.

The affinis aren't, the borneoensis can be. South Texas though is quite warm. But I don't plan on them being outside year around until another year of growth. I know a couple keepers that as long the pond is deep enough and enough flora they just hang out at the bottom during cold spells.
