I have two sullies that are the exact same age and can both fit in the palm of my hand but since I started feeding mazuri within the last couple months one of them has almost doubled the size of the other. Is this normal? They are both very active and eat at the same time and the same amount. They are supposed to be male and female could this be the reason why?

This is normal. They all grow at different rates. This is usually exaggerated in pairs, which is one reason why I recommend against keeping them in pairs. It is not a good dynamic for most species and most situations and it almost always leads to problems and/or disaster.

They are supposed to be male and female

I believe that if they fit, individually, in your hand, they are way too young to determine sex. 10lbs. maybe.
They all grow at different rates. I received two from Tom a couple months ago, one for me and one for a veterinarian friend of mine. Last night was the first time I saw hers since she got it and I was amazed a how much larger hers seemed to be! These weren't clutch mates but close enough. Set up two enclosures as soon as you can. Babies will bully for food.

I have kept pairs that have worked out well and kept pairs where there was dominance (which then had to have adjustments made). You cannot say for sure how things will turn out until they do. Males tend to be more dominant than females, but there are dominant females out there (I have one that settled down over time after I made some adjustments). Two males will likely fight, but there are some males which just so happen to get along with each other (less frequently). A male and a female are unlikely to fight, but the male may be more boisterous and will be more likely to harass the female to mate as he matures and this can become very stressful if he is unrelenting (frequently). Two females are most likely to get along (frequently) with the occasional exception.

In short, two dudes are most likely to box it out in time, a chick is most likely going to get tired of a dude's advances, and two chicks are the most likely to mind their own business. Exceptions will occur and any foreknowledge on that is BS until born out with time.

Having more animals tends to make stress more diffuse when there is plenty of space. Having more animals tends to make stress more concentrated when space is more limited.

I have a leopard pair that works out swimmingly even though the female is behaviorally dominant (including towards animals MUCH larger than herself). I have a hybrid and a sulcata that, despite both being dominant, get along without too much trouble (if they get right in each other's faces, they may start shoving, but they end it on their own without much trouble once a visual path is cleared). As a habit, I do not keep males together in any kind of confined quarters (especially mature males).

It can really go either way. Growth rate discrepancies can serve as an indicator of bullying, sexual dimorphism, or simply individual genetics. People here seem to default to the first, but each case is truly its own.

There are different sorts of dominance triggers, too. Over food. Over space. Over sex. Over laying areas. Over a number of things. Some of these are best dealt with via separation. Some of these things can be dealt with via different means.

No one will know your situation better than you will over time. No one will be responsible for the result, good or bad, more than you.

They may or may not like previous posters have mentioned but if your getting 2 make sure you can afford 2 setups have be ready to move if anything come up XD

Also keep in mind they get BIG the only reason I don't want a salcauta right now but good luck

As for the size difference of your two could be as simple as different growth spurts in a few months your smaller one might double and the larger one may be the same size
