So, my brother has brought me hay that is left over from the bottom of his hay barn. It has not been in contact with the horses or horse manure. Would this be great to spread in my outdoor turtle garden, 50 gallon turtle hybernation box, and my indoor turtle hatchling enclosure?

Thanks!

What kind of hay is it? Hay tends to suck the moisture out of things.

I once tried to use pet store alfalfa hay (for rabbits, small animals) in my tortoises indoor enclosures and it got moldy fast.
