Hatchling doesn't walking

my 25 gr. greeek hatchling do not moving around the enclosure. Eats his meal(i think he's male) and sleeps, or sits in his burrow all the day. i get him off to garden to walk, he walks and runs. Is it means his enclosure is small for him? (55*55 cm) or what?

Post pics of the enclosure a pic of the tortoise and tell us all the temps and humidity.
Babies do sleep a lot. They wake, eat, roam a little bit then sleep and repeat, sleeping more then anything. However, if things aren't right, they will hide away and sleep more then they should.

Babies instinctively hide a lot to avoid predators.
