My 6 mo old RT hatchling has been inactive and not eaten for the last 3 days. He recently was on newspaper for several weeks while getting treated for flagellates. Throughout the treatment he ate pretty well. Upon return to coconut coir he did great for a couple of days: burrowed in various areas at night and ate very well during day. Lights are on 14 hrs and temps are 95 basking, 85 warm, 75 cool and 75 night. I soak him 20 min each morning.
At first I was thinking the problem was that it is too bright and hot but he spends most of his time, day and night, laying in the warmest area near the MVB bulb. He digs near the edge of the enclosure and lays with his face against the plastic of the seed tray lining his wooden enclosure. He lays exposed, not covered with substrate. He has damp areas and cooler areas and hides in the enclosure but does not spend time in them. Any thoughts?
