My turtles had to share the pond today with some visitors.

I always wanted visitors to my pond. But the geese and ducks just keep going. I guess living so close to lake Michigan, why bother with a pond. We did have a mommy duck and babies in a neighbors front yard, but not my yard or pond. A couple turtles look very interested. Would love to see a pic of the whole pond area. From what I do see, it looks great.

You must have a zoom lens to be able to capture them before they flew off. How neat!

No, actually, they are pretty tame. They have been dropping by during migrations ever since we built our pool, 3 years ago. I am trying to "train" them to stay out of the pool, and use the pond, because they poop so damn much!

NICE pond. Your turtles look like they are discussing the situation.
Cement + plants, and do you have a filter?

No filter. I have to clean some of the muck out once a year.

Nice pond.. I wish we could have something along those lines, but it just gets too darn hot here for the size of yard we have.. And RV would want to hog the pool........

;P
