Hey guys I got a 160 watt all in one light for my 3 month old sulcata but it just seems way too hot. U think that’s too high of watt for a baby sulcata let me know please.

Only your thermometer can answer this question.

You should be using a closed chamber and a 160 watt bulb would be too much for that. Also, MVBs will dry things out and cause pyramiding too. A 65 watt flood bulb is usually sufficient.

I've never seen a need for anything bigger than a 100 watt, and I much. prefer a tube type fluorescent UVB for babies.
