Looks beautiful Angie and little Zola. After learning about my pupils' wonderful results I went into Leigh for the Leigh Art Trail. After lunch I looked at the art exhibition in St Clements Church before heading down steep, cobbled Church Hill. Unfortunately about halfway down I found that my sandals weren't suitable for Church Hill but luckily I was holding on to the railings when my left foot slid and I ended up sitting on the ground with my right hand acting as a lever. I now have a sensitive right palm and leg!

Goodnight everyone

Here is one more view of the birthday boy -the photos don't really convey how bright and sparkly the place was - and there was one man with his dog, some distance away - but no other people at all.
On our way driving there, we passed the place where the beavers have been introduced, but didn't see any at work !
I'm very sorry about your fall, Natrah - I hope your hand soon gets better -it must be a real nuisance, but I expect Jacky will enjoy being able to get away with more mischief when she realises you are a bit fragile and unable to stop her !duc3.jpg Love from Angie xxxxxxxx

Hope you’re ok today Natrah. You’ll be going away soon & Jacky will be let loose on your friends vegetable patch! Is it the 19th?
Dickie doesn’t seem to be enjoying this hot weather at all. We have a hosepipe ban in place, we haven’t had any proper rain for weeks & everywhere is looking parched.

Good evening everyone

Sorry this a bit late but I've been wrapping prizes to present to three of the pupils this week. They are prizes for progress for Grade 6 Piano, Grade 4 Violin and Grade 1 Piano. I can feel the muscles in my right arm and left leg but otherwise I'm okay apart from feeling a bit giddy because of my sinuses. This was mainly whilst I was in bed and when I got up and I know it's my sinuses. During my many visits to the doctors about my allergic rhinitis over the years I was told that my sinuses have to work harder in hot weather. They have certainly been working hard this week on hot buses and exam centres with no fans or air con. I must admit I thought of Angie today but otherwise it has gradually cleared up especially when I inhaled Vicks.

Jacky had her soak today but I have given some thought to what you said about Dickie in this weather Sue. Maybe this morning's soak tired Jacky out because once I put her back outside she spent some time basking or sleeping under the thistles on the rockery. She did eat but not too much and Angie and Zola when I picked her up to bring her in for the night she found her energy and kicked and shoved until I put her in front of the photo of herself and Daisy to say goodnight as usual. As usual she put her paw on Daisy's picture and kicked and shoved whilst we were saying goodnight to other family members until we came to our tortoise friends when she finally calmed down🤣.

That's another beautiful photo of birthday boy Angie and the sky is a beautiful blue. I was more careful when I went out today as I needed to get some shopping and top up the gas meter. I had planned to have lunch at the Cliffs Pavilion as usual as it's air conditioned but the cafe was closed for refurbishment so I ended up having lunch on the cliffs in the shade. I noticed Jersey Tiger Moths and Marbled Whites butterflies in flight they are enjoying this weather and the fact that the council have allowed part of the cliffs to resemble meadows!

Goodnight everyone

Natrah, Jacky and Angel Daisy

PS: Jacky leaves on the 24th July and I leave on the 25th July.
