I've decided to start another Jacky and Daisy thread just incase the old one has gone altogether. I sent a post on Daisy's Anniversary and I hope you all saw it and infact I hope I can still receive replies.

Dear Natrah,
It's still there. I don't mind the craziness of the different threads until I'm trying to find a certain post. That's downright impossible 🤔 everyone one's blabbing. I'm pretty sure I've seen them. Do you follow certain friends? If you do you should get alerts when they post. Also I touch the watch option for threads I like to interact with.

Good evening everyone!

I'm just letting you know that Yvonne says she can find my thread so she thinks that someone may have deleted it thinking it was spam. She says that TT gets a lot of spam which I imagine they do. I did ask whether they had a deleted section that they could look at but I don't want to bother her too much and I do have other threads. Anyway it has been a nice day here and I managed to get to lunch with my friends to our favourite Italian restaurant. We then did some shopping and I came home to find Channel 5 News warning about a possible tornado in the south so please look after yourselves. It seems that this should be during the night and could clear away tomorrow so Zola can get out for his walk.

It’s certainly windy here again & raining. We are midlands though. Heard on the news a mini tornado struck a bit further north the other day. Our weather is definately changing & affecting everything. Keep expecting Dickie to wake up as it’s been so mild.

Good evening everyone!

The old thread has turned up in the archives and I can read it but not add to it so it's a good idea to continue with this thread. I went for a walk this afternoon and below are pictures from the walk. I walked along the seafront and I thought of Zola but the sea was rough and most people ended up with a shower. I walked all the way from Westcliff Seafront to Two Tree Island nature reserve and I took a couple of photos of my former pupil's pub, The Crooked Billet. When I left the Golf Club Cafe there was a fox waiting for his breakfast!

Hello Natrah - the weather has been really fierce - strong winds and heavy rain - however, I got a little look at the sea, and the waves were huge. Then the sun came out briefly, and in a little patch of sky, there was a small but beautiful rainbow - the different colours were very distinct and bright. So I thought of you and Angel Daisy, of course.

Oh thankyou Zola. I was hoping to see a rainbow as there was some rain in the morning but by lunchtime it had cleared. Unfortunately it came back with a vengeance when I was on my way home and soaked the washing and as you say that wind was very strong. I hope the three of you are okay. I think Pete, Richard and you have birthdays coming up.

Hello Natrah - fancy you remembering my dad's birthday - I have a half-birthday on the same day -January 27 - and then a full birthday in July with my mum ! So I don't miss out on any celebrations !!
I hope next year will be better for you - you have had a lot of sad and distressing times in recent years - perhaps this coming year you will be able to chug along peacefully, keeping well, and having good things happen for you.

Dear Natrah -Happy New Year - it has been a wet and windy one here, and we just went out for Zola's look at the sea - luckily we had the big eucalyptus tree in our front garden cut back a couple of years ago - we felt bad about it at the time, but I don't think we would have any roof left to our front room today if we hadn't done so !!

Happy New Year Everyone!

Did you all stay up to see the fireworks? I did but I didn't just have the TV because there were some spectacular ones near me. Zola I think it was a good idea to get rid of that tree because I remember the group if Eucalyptus trees behind our house in Malaysia. They can grow very Tal and of course one of them was about to come down and when it come down it was quite safe of the distance between the trees and our house.

The day got off to a reasonable start with a phonecall to my brother and we were able to have a fairly good chat. Relations between became very strained when I was a carer and there are some things that I can't talk to him about but I might be able to meet him in London in a couple of months. I then watched the New Year's Day Concert from Vienna and this time I counted eight women in the orchestra which is better than the previous years.

In the afternoon I thought of Zola when I went for my New Year's Day walk by the seaside and like Zola my walk was shorter than usual but it was due to rain. The forecast exactly right but anyway the New Year's Day swimmers were taking a dip but it is not something I would do in this weather.

Hello Natrah -I hope you are having a good day today. It has been extremely windy again, and my dad very bravely ventured a little way towards the place where we usually look down at the waves - then he decided it was dangerous to go any further, so he just let me look out at the sea from a distance (while peering out of his coat). My mum was glad when we came back to the car !
There were quite a few flooded areas on the way home, but not really dramatic, and luckily our house is quite a bit above the road, so we don't have to worry about water getting in the house.

Good evening everyone!

We've got a yellow warning for wind! When I walked into town it was just rain but about 2.30 pm the winds started blowing up and I had difficulty staying upright. The elderly gent in front of me had to hold on to the railings at Sainsbury's in order to stay up and I was keeping an eye on him. Zola I think your dad was very but he was right you couldn't look at those waves. My friend was on the seafront and later she posted pictures on Facebook and the waves were wild!
