Heat source - insulated dog house

Long time lurker first time poster.
I did what's usually not recommended and bought a dog house and insulated it like crazy. I used spray foam on the very bottom of the outside, all insides including the top, then lined the sides and top with 2 layers of foil insulation. I originally purchased a kane mat that was too large, so then I purchased the zoomed habitat heater. I'm reading so many different things about heat sources I'm truly overwhelmed.

My plan is to hang it from the ceiling or the very back panel of the house. Would this be ok? Also read quite a bit about CHE... but ahhhh too many options!

I need reasonable options financially and something I can manage to do by myself with minimal Mrs. Fix-It skills.

He has a burrow under an old deck he usually hangs out in. Or I lug him inside which is no longer an option as he's 55 pounds now.
Thanks for any and all help. Truly appreciated.

I'm not sure what your temperatures are like there, but the dog house is probably not going to work.
Usually the Kane mat is used on the floor and a heat panel on top. I don't think the mat alone is going to be enough. A CHE is not good for your guy, he's much too big.

This is the panel I bought from TSC.
Thanks. I have to make the dog house work. No other option at this point. I'll check into the heat panel!

Could you post picture so we can see what you're working with? What do you mean by 'foil insulation.'?

Pics inside and out, please.

I'm concerned about the spray insulation being exposed enough to entice munching and get an impaction.

I guess a picture would have been helpful. It's plastic material pretty much. I do have some thin wood looking vinyl that will go over the foil as well so he isn't interested in a shiney snack.
I purchased the heat oanel from tractor supply that was recommended. I've seen it posted a few times so I guess it's worth a shot! I still have the zoomed habitat heater as well just in case. Searching for a thermostat recommendation too... thanks everyone! Greatly appreciated

That is way better then the igloo type of houses. Definitely get the foil stuffed covered.

I looked to see what the zoomed habitat heater was. It looks like you can place it on the floor, if I saw the right thing. If so get it on the floor under the heat panel it is the best way.
