Now that the tempreatures has started to drop I have a hard time keeping constant temperature in my sulcata table. So I was thinking of installing heat cable on the walls of table. Will it raise the enclosure temperature?
I do have glass cover over about half of the table.

What should I use then? I do have ceramic heat emitter.
Have you looked at the Enclosures thread to see how some people adapt their tables?
Some add frames by fixing posts on the corners, connecting these with horizontal bars and drape plastic over.
Also helps humidity.
There's lots of ideas.

You should use a closed chamber to hold the heat and humidity in. Having an open top simply allows your warm air to escape up and into the room. Adding more electric heat will only dry things out, and contribute to more pyramiding.

The solution is to contain the warm humid air, not to generate more heat.

I used a rope heater under a glass tank closed chamber. The heat was conducted by my damp orchid bark substrate. Through the glass. The heat helped with some evaporation and the evaporation gave me humidity.
Later I got rid of the rope heater and found that I'd did very little.
