Heating outdoors will it effect torts?

Im thinking of getting some russians and i will make a hut with heat lamps in and in bad weather i will shut the hut with them inside so they dont wander into the outdoor bit of the enclosure. The hut will be big would this be ok thanks

Be sure to put your heating elements on a thermostat. Locking them in and not having the heat controlled would not be good. Also be sure the heat element can go on a thermostat, as a mvb can not.

Oh yeh thanks i have a thermostat setup for my blue tongued skink so i know what to do thanks for the advice.

Can i get a pair of juvenile russians in the shop they were together all eating together and they were fine they have plenty of space to get away from each other and there will be different food bowls.
