Hi everyone! I am new here. I am in NW Indiana too! We are wanting to get a Hermanns. Where is the best place to get one? I have a site online in mind if I need to order but I would would much rather pick it up myself ( even travel) personally. We were going to buy a Russian at a certain store but it ended up getting sick so they couldn't sell him Most stores here seem to only sell Russians. Read that a Hermanns was a better pick for our climate here. We are in the process of building our tortoise table right now any advice would be great!

Hello and Welcome. A breeder is the best place, specially a breeder from this forum. Unless of course you can save one from Craig's list.
