Hello and welcome. Fontana is a great place for a sulcata. Great tortoise weather.

Click on the links in my signature for all sorts of sulcata info. You are going to want to soak him every day for the next few months and get him onto a different substrate than those dry pellets. Anyone told you about their need for sunshine or the correct diet yet?

Welcome to the Forum :D and what a beautiful little tort....

I think that the first pic was likely where you picked up the tort from??? I see a couple babies on the ground?

I would make super sure that you soak this little one every every every day and be sure that you use a clean (chemical and fertilizer free) substrate that you can allow your tort to muck about in....I do not think that tank in the first shot is your set up right? If so you will need to make a gazillion changes :p

If you share your set up with us (likely you may have been given less than stellar information on care and set up from the place you got him at--just guessing from the tank enclosure in the first pic) and we will love to help you out as much as possible.... :D
