Joined today so just introducing ourselves
Ulysses has been with us 3 years i have been under the impression he/she is a greek spur thighed tortoise
And have been caring for him/her as such. Any help with sexing appreciated!!
I think young male. Is his/her plastron (belly shell) concave? Take another pic of him/her on his/her back (but tilted to the side)where we can see whether his/her plastron is flat or concaved. Of course maybe a young male that hasn't developed the curved plastron yet.
Hello, and a very warm welcome to Tortoise Forum to you and Ulysses.
It's a Greek tortoise, and contrary to others, i'm saying female, though may be too young to be certain, yet.
But judging from the very v-shaped end to the plastron, flat not concave plastron and rounder end to the tail, typical of Moroccan Greek females at least, that's what i would guess at this stage.
