Hello from Texas!

I am a new tort owner. We have had Stu since December and was told he was a Russian but recently stumbled across pictures of Hermann's. I began to question what he is and he looks a lot like a Hermann instead of Russian. Any opinions?

Definitely not a Russian. I admit to getting Greeks and Hermann's confused, but this looks Hermanni to me.

I think your cute little tort is a Hermann. I have a Greek tort (Oli ) and he does not at all look like your tort.

Yes that's defiantly a hermann tortoise not sure western or eastern but the Russian and hermanns have the similar care needed here below is the hermann care sheet
