Hi everyone! I am a VERY new tortoise owner, in fact we found our little guy roaming the streets in our neighborhood last Thursday. We have been trying to find the owners but no such luck. We'd like to keep him and have read up on our local laws about it and it's completely legal to keep! I am excited as I've always wanted to own a tortoise, and now it seems like he found us by fate

We live in Las Vegas, NV and look forward to some great conversations and getting to know more about our new pet!!

Have you found out what species he is yet?
I had no idea there were so many different sorts until I was adopted by a leopard.
There's lots to learn but you'll find answers here in the caresheet for him etc.
This is a great place for information and inspiration.
