Looks like a Three-toed box turtle, Terrapene carolina triunguis, to me.

Very young three toed box turtle, probably a couple of years old. Looks like it has a fungal infection on the carapace.

Definitely a little three toed. I have one that's a year old, that looks a lot like that one. He looks like he has some shell fungus, and is a little under weight.

Funny my first thought was box turtle but then he gave the name of the pet shop where it came from and I don't remember ever seeing them there...
I found on CL with a tank for $45. I don't need a box Turtle at this time.

.Terry id love to but so far my CL purchases have cost me more than there worth.
My last purchase was supposed to be a Russian but silly me didn't see "Texas tortoise"
The TT is in good hands... and before that I bought a red foot that had a respiratory infection. Ill just leave this one alone

I would be a little careful also, the 3 toed does look dry in the pics posted. IMHO
