Help Identify my grandson's tortoise

He texted me this photo of a tortoise(?) his teacher is keeping in her small cage. My grandson thinks the cage is way too small and he is concerned for the little guy's health. Please help him by identifying this beautiful little one.

Looks to me like a Eastern Hermanns Tortious. But am not 100% sure
