Help identifying my new children

Hey guys I'm brand new to this forum, because I picked up these beauties and I'm not sure if they are considered ''cherry heads " or are just regular red foot tortoise. Thanks in advance

I have one if each and i know there is a way to tell the difference by their head scales but I can't recall exactly how to do it. here the difference in mine is obvious but it's not always that way. Lets wait for the seasoned RF keepers to chime in

I've done a ton of research and that's exactly what I thought as well, but I guess it's not as simple as the head color only, but I mean red head, looks like a cherry = cherry head... Should be simple!

Any tips for the red foots? What do you Love or hate about them?

@cdmay. I would like to here your views on this. Adults are obvious. Brazilians have the dark plastrons and bolbous nose.

With the hatchlings they all have the bolbous nose. When my northern hatchlings hatched I was thinking maybe my male Brazilian(I'm thinking immature) had been up to mistcheif because they had dark along the seems of the plastron scutes just like what I see with some of yours and Allegra's Brazilians, 4 months on and my hatchlings no longer have dark plastron seems.
How do we distinguish the neonates. Yes the bright red ones are the easiest.

Whilst we are here, is it true that only Brazilians have the large elbow scale or not?

yeah its very pale in color but I read so much information but no one seems to be certain maybe hes a mix
