Hypoestes phyllostachya aka Polka Dot Plant

We are selling these at my work and I thought they were cute but I didn't want to buy something that will harm my tortoise.

I looked on this site and some others and couldn't find this one... anyone know?

Non toxic, but causes mild diarrhea and vomiting in mammals.

Hmmm.. I wonder if it would cause those problems to a tortoise as well. I guess if no one really knows I could try it and closely monitor him.

Probably pesticide treated, so I wouldn't go for it unless you planted outside and waited a few months
